Here in Malaysia - It's been wild! :)

We are back to the warmth, color, tastes, sounds and smells of our beloved Malaysia! Sorry for not upating this sooner, but our internet time has been limited and we've had some unexpected emergencies!

Last Friday, Neena's mother was admitted to the hospital after internal bleeding was discovered. She had lost lots of blood from a stomach ulcer, and needed a blood transfusion. Our friend David Chiang. who had studied in Winnipeg, drove us immediately from Melaka (where we were staying with grandparents) to the hospital - about 1.5-2 hours away. We are thankful to God for the generosity of this Christian brother in our time of need. And thank you David (and Patricia and two boys also, who let their daddy take us!)

Neena's mother is doing much better now, and is home and "out and about" as usual. Her sister (whil she was in hospital) and now mother have stayed with us all here to help out with day-to-day affairs. Again we are thankful to God!
